Welcome back to the maroon and gold! We are excited to see our classrooms filled once more with mighty, mighty Hornets.

In addition to the change in leadership with Maela Edmondson taking over the role of superintend, you will also note some schedule changes. The first bell still rings at 7:50 a.m., but the days ends a little earlier with a 3:40 p.m. dismissal. The cafeteria opens as usual for breakfast at 7:30 a.m.

You have also probably noticed the school year is starting a little later than normal and a glance at the school calendar reveals that it is also ending a little later. This year school starts on Tuesday, Aug. 18 and ends on Thursday, May 27.

The reason is simple: SUCCESS! “We went to State in so many things last year that we ran out of time to celebrate our graduates and accomplishments,” said Mrs. Edmondson.

With the change in schedule, not only is our summer a few days longer, but we have more time to have fun and recognize our students for all of their success.
